Ideal and Reality: The Real Tower Cheese Burger Looks Terrible When Compared to Its Ad

Image
Lotteria, a fast-food chain popular in Japan, started to sell a giant tower burger that looks awesome in the above image; despite its hugeness, its somehow organized and looks standing upright perfectly. There would be nothing to complain about only if it stays the same way when it's served to your table.  As always, the reality ruins everything. The below image is something you will get when you order the tower burger. Sticky, dirty, stinky... I have no idea how to eat this monster meal. Hopefully, I don't want to get my hands dirty with its sticky cheese and fats but it seems inevitable. Do you want to try it? You might also like this post Via: Hamusoku

Only in Japan: How to Play with a Party Doll

Image
If you're a fan of Japanese anime, this video probably reminds you of a legendary series, Ghost in the Shell. The video is an introduction video of what is called "party doll," and it is used as a drink server that lets you pour the contents of the doll from its right breath by squeezing the left breath. It's ridiculous but it's somehow not bad. What do you think? You might also like this post Via: YouTube

Christiano Ronald Was Puzzled by a TV Host's Strange Behavior

Image
Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, known as Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portuguese soccer player who currently plays as a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid. Recently he made an appearance on a Japanese TV show where he was apparently confused at the sight of the weird behavior of a Japanese TV host. At the show, Ronaldo was asked how he got the muscle, and he introduced a special fitness equipment to train your facial muscle. A Japanese TV host who was given the equipment tried it himself as soon as he got the new toy; but the way he uses it obviously annoyed Ronalso in every way, especially his facial expression that remind me of getting high by smoking something illegal. No War, No Fascism! 1,200 Tokyoites Organized Anti-Fascism Demonstration

Image
“Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.”  ―  Rumi Tokyo, July 5th, more than 1200 volunteers came together to amplify their voice on their own way to let the world know what is going on in the politics, urging the public to fight against the current government led by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who has an immoderate passion for violating Japan's pacifist Constitution that has been kept the use of military force to the minimum. Amid the awkward media silence, what they did really mattered. If they don't we do. The below tweet says: "By using media that are repeatedly broadcasting World Cup news, they obviously district the public attention from things that really matter: constitutional amendment of the collective defense, covering-up cervix cancer vaccine problem and the reality people in Fukushima faces."

The Shame of Japan: This Complete Idiot lol

Image
Politicians are idiot. Yeah, we all know that and that's universal. Here is another example: an idiot, who is now rumored to be psychopath, was historically crying in a talk with reporters. Ryutaro Nonomura, 47, was accused of wasting public money on visiting hot spring  more than 100 times a year . And here is a problem, he didn't have any receipt to proof his visits on the facilities. We don't expect him to use our common sense anyway... Because of his wasting public money for his personal joy, he was forced to apologize during the press conference live on TV, where he shouted nonsense phrases, weeping like a baby. He closed his Twitter account a day after the legendary pres-conference and now he has nowhere to go, but leave his job - no one knows what kind of job he got done though. Japan's Militarization and Awkward Media Silence

Image
The reinterpretation of Japan's pacifist constitution, typified by Article 9 that has kept the use of force to the minimum over 60 years, now allows the state to defend its allies under armed attack in collective self-defense even when Japan itself is not. The sudden departure from its post-war security policy amid awkward media silence caused a stir across the nation due to the fact that the drastic change would leave room for further reinterpretation of the Constitution and expand the use of force without clear limits. The strong trend toward militarism has been pushed forward by notorious Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who strictly believes the state must be a proactive contributer to global peace and security and enforce the defense capabilities of Self-Defense Force (SDF). He added that this is an expected response to the regional security threats Japan faces, especially for deteriorated relationship with its neighbors, including China, South and North Korea and Russia. It,...

Not Cool Japan: Panasonic's Smart Viera TV-ad Is Banned for a Ridiculous Reason

Image
It's probably the best time to say good-bye to our commercial TV networks which are nothing but only  fossils of the past. Japanese major commercial networks made an outrageous decision to ban to air Panasonic's latest smart-TV series, Smart Viera which has a variety of connectivities to major Internet services, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and more. So you can share what you are watching on TV on YouTube or Facebook anytime you want when you are in front of the TV.  And, here is the thing. Japanese commercial TV networks decided not to air the smart-TV's ad due to the product's violation of the industrial rule according to which the TV-picture must be displayed on the screen entirely: while the viera offers users to access to the Internet as the social networking systems are displayed on the right-side and the bottom of the screen.  And conclusion Japanese net-users draw from this issue is that their out-dated ideas which ...

A Ghost (or a Body) Was Captured in a JNN Footage

Image
Recently in Japan, a tour bus bound for Tokyo Disneyland driven by a Chinese driver, who fall asleep at the wheel at the night, led to a fatal accident, resulting in seven passengers's death and fourteen injured.  As it was a huge accident in Japan in the past few years, the news was broadcasted nationwide; and some Japanese Net-users found something weird in a video footage that captured the accident location. A Ghost. Look closer at 1:06 on the video, you would be freaked out. You might also like this post Via: YouTube Rajic

Kyoto, Japan: A Big Boom of a Car Crush Was Recorded on a Video

Image
At 1;48, you will hear the crushing noise of the car. On April 12, 2012 in Kyoto, Japan, a mini-vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Japanese male, Shingo Fujisaki crushed into a power pole after the car killed eight people and injured eleven on a pedestrian crossing. According to witnesses, soon after the crush, Fujisaki came out of the car, vomiting blood to pass away in a hospital in a few minutes.  Since we lost the criminal, there is no way to know what led him to let the accident happen. For some reason, the traffic accident in Kyoto reminds me of 2008 Akihabara massacre because of which seven people were killed and ten were injured.   What is common between the two is that both were done by relatively younger generations who suffer the recent recession that doesn't allow them to enjoy stable life and economy.
