AlJazeera - Fukushima: Japan is Guilty of World's Worst Sea Contamination

Image
Fukushima's nuclear explosion inflected intolerable damage not only on the inland, but also the sea. Despite the fact that the Japanese government has been seeking solution to the disastrous issue, they seem having no effective plan to stop the heavy sea contamination sprawling further and further across  the surrounding areas of Fukushima. Pictures below are highly polluted flowers found in Japan. Source(s): http://blog.livedoor.jp/christmas1224/archives/6426055.html

TIME: Difference Between the States And the Rest of the World

Image
The left one is American version, and the right one is issued in the rest of the world. Time is one of the most influential magazines in the world and has been disseminating millions of news to not only the States, but also the rest of the world.  The latest issue, however, caused a ripple in the world because of the fact that while the U.S. version of Time focuses on health-care, Time  issued in the rest of the world covers current European crises that headlined world-widely. Some suggest that Americans don't care about what is happening in the outside of their nation, or intentionally avoid covering topics related to "Occupy-Wall-Street" movement. What do you think? Japanese Media Pass Yamamoto with Silence

Image
Almost daily, Japanese media has covered Chinese bullet-train's accident in which more than approximately 300 people lost their lives, and claim against Chinese  Communist Party's cover-up operations which they try to decrease the number of the victims. While Japanese media enjoy the neighbor's sorrow, they refuse even to comment on a Japanese actor, Tarou Yamamoto (山本太郎) , who resigned his entertainment agency after the tsunami disaster in March to start his own anti-nuclear-power-plants activity. "What the Japanese government is doing is nothing other than giving up their own future," said Yamamoto in his speech in Ryukoku University (龍谷大学 ), Kyoto . Travelling around Japan, especially affected prefectures, he tries to let general people know what is truly happening in his home country as well as be the incentive to let them think of what they can do to reconstruct Japan without depending on nuclear powers. On the Internet, such as YouTube or his own Tw...

Fuji TV's YouTube Account Turned Ablaze

Image
Started with the unfair discharge of Japanese actor, Sousuke Takaoka , whose tweet on Twitter about anti-Korean pop-cultures (K-POP) that promotes not to watch Fuji television that broadcast Korean TV dramas more than 40 hours a month, Japanese anti-Korean movement  has finally  gotten shape as an avalanche of posts with strong words on the YouTube account ( http://www.youtube.com/user/fujitv ) of Fuji TV, which is perceived by Japanese Net-users as a television-network commandeered by the South Korean Government and Korean financial farms. Takaoka's rapid discharge form his ex-agency, Stardust-Promotion  made Japanese Net-users doubt that Fuji TV might put pressure upon Stardust Promotion  to discharge the actor. As expressing their disgust against Korean pop-cultures, or just enjoyably showing their daily personal displeasure by posting on the Fuji TV's page on YouTube, the posts on the page surpassed 30...

In the Face of the Realities

Image
With the fact that the last major earthquake happened in the 11th, Japanese media call it as the "3/11," comparing with "9/11," and Japanese media reported the current status of tsunami-wrecked areas as dramatic as possible. Such over-earnest media circus went toward termination as days have advanced. Almost a couple of weeks down the line, the eastern-half of Japan is experiencing minor tremors of the Tohoku-Kanto Earthquake, the Japanese government has failed integrating all incoming and outgoing information of damages being wrecked in the major quake, tsunamis and nuclear leakage in Fukushima, preventing the public to erase a skepticism toward the Diet. During a week after the quake, all Japanese televisions stopped broadcasting their regular programs; from a following week, however, they started their regulars - comedians behave as if nothing happened - all at once as though distracting audiences from realities in the face of hazardous nature of the radiologi...

Transparency of Information Discovery Is Tested Now.

Image
One week from the last major earthquake in Tohoku, people in Japan gave silent prayers to those who lost their lives in the catastrophe on 14:36, which none of Japanese has experienced ever until then. "We are in the greatest postwar crisis ever," said Naoto Kan in his speech performed in the office of Prime Minister on March 18th, 2011. Once his speech was finished, a number of questions swirled around the office from Japanese media participating his speech, and the majority of such questions were about if the government has disclosed whole pieces of information about the Fukushima nuclear-power-plant to people in general. Prime Minister Kan answered right back without any specific example that they've discovered every piece of information to the public. All the way through the days in which people in East-Japan suffer from the after-effects of the quake, the Diet failed in cleaning down the impression of skepticism about the transparency of information among the publ...
