Das Experiment: The Dark Side of Our Nature

Das Experiment (English: The Experiment) is a psycho-thriller film, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. Based on Mario Giordano's novel Black Box, which is about a prison experiment of 1971, the dramatized documentary describes how people change when they were put into a certain situation where prison guards enjoy their dominance over prisoners.
It was just a social experiment. Several young men were separated by two groups: prison guards are prisoners. Day after day, guards' violent activity on prisoners were escalated and resulted in two deaths. The experiment was discontinued earlier than originally planed.
So what we can learn from this experiment? Do we all have this kind of violent nature in our brain? This movie is probably not for everyone, but it's worth watching.
