Timothy Allen's Photographs

Image
Born in Britain in1971, Timothy Allen has been pursuing photographing career as he traveled around the globe. His travel to Indonesia triggered him to find passion in photography.  In his young days, he had been taking pictures of wars, hot spots and more, documenting what had been happening in the world.  He, however, shifted his subjects to document from negative side of humanity to positive side. His recent works show us various aspects of humanity, as he travels every around corner of Earth and documents especially those in secluded areas from civilizations and life under the water.

Truth Behind the Scenes: BBC's "Inside the Meltdown"

Image
As if nothing happened, we rarely have opportunities to know what is happening in Fukushima right now as long as living in Tokyo, while we have a lot of nobody-cares gossip news of Japanese celebrities.  Meanwhile BBC gave a behind-the-scenes coverage of Fukushima and the melt-down.
Even though we feel something odd is going on, nobody puts it into words openly.

Human Relationships Destroy Social Media

Image
Especially woman and younger SNS users tend to work more on privacy management than others. From Facebook to Twitter and everything in between, we have tremendous numbers of social media services today, and they are replacing our old ways to communicate, even e-mail services.  According a poll conducted in 2011, 63% of social media users, however,  answered that they deleted users from their friends list; of which 67% was women, and 58% was men. The result showed the fact that the trend is growing at a fast pace, when compared with the poll of 2009. Not only did they delete friends from their list, but also they deleted their comments and tags that identify their names on photos.  Of the all SNS users, 58% is hiding their page from the public, and 19% limit their page only on friends' friends. Only 20% use social media openly. Even though the absolute goal of social media is to connect people to people, it somehow concentrates on circumstances at the expense of the main issue.

Dave Spector: American TV Talent in Japan

Image
While Americans probably never heard of him, Dave Spector is known to vast majority of Japanese as a Gaijin tarento (foreign TV talent).  Speaking fluent Japanse, Spector enjoys great popularity in the Far Eastern nation, where locates half way around the Earth from his home, the United States.  His interest toward Japan had begun when he had been a fixture in his Japanese neighbor's house, learning the language and cultures as well as became the major cause for him to study at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, in 1972. Since 1983, he started his career as a TV talent in the country and distinguished himself not only as a telent but also as a TV producer, commentator and more along with several other foreign talents, who enrich their knowledge of Japan; among them, Spector is a few of them who established their lives in the country as he married a Japanese woman. Today, he appears on several TV shows as a regular member and develops his career as a Gaijin tarento in the land of …

Image
"Swing Away!!" said the dead wife in the 2002 American film, The Sign. The video uploaded from Brazil is nothing to do with the movie except for a key word, The Space. In a small village, a male villager woke up to an explosive sound at 6:00 AM on February 22nd. The whole village excited over the unknown sphere, but found the fact that it was a part of a rocket launched form Europe. Yes, their imagination time was finished soon.

Pokemon's Latest Series Will Be on Japanese Market in June

Image
Nintendo announced that they will launch the latest series of Pokemon in the native country, Japan. The title, however, is Pokemon: Black and White "2."
As it is obvious from the title, the latest version could be the squeal of the previous ones as well as have contingency in the story in some level.  The software will be compatible with Nintendo DSs and 3DS in spite of the fact that you can't expect 3D-animation in the game. Since it is a mega-hit series throughout the world, some Japanese Net-users posted their comments that it would upset Pokemon lovers.

New Urban Legend? Natasha Singh's Twitter Account And Her Mysterious Death

Image
Believe it or not, a large number of Net-users around the world claim that a ghost drives a Twitter account, which is followed by as many as seven hundred thousand people on the site despite the fact that the account left only one tweet saying "What must we do now."  The mysterious account is managed by a Twitter user, @zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, whose name is Natasha Singh, who was a real person as well as is claimed to die a tragic death when she was 31 in Delhi, India, in 2001; the case, however, headlined newspapers in the country in as late as 2010. For the record, Twitter was launched in 2006. From the start, she had been suffered poor health, while she enjoyed her photographing career.  Her death itself is veiled in mystery. Police announced that Natasha probably committed suicide from the top of a Ninth floor of a hotel, where is separated by nine-kilometers from her hospital in which she was last seen alive. Police, however, said that they would keep investigating the case, …
